Jose Canseco claims finger falls off playing poker

What else can you say when Jose Canseco — the former baseball slugger who accidentally shot his own finger final month — claims that part of said finger fell off during a poker tournament?

No word yet on regardless of whether Canseco won the hand, but he doesn’t appear to be too broken up about it, offered the tenor of his Twitter feed.

“I place my finger in the freezer,” he wrote. He wrote two books on the subject: “Juiced: Wild Occasions, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits, and How Baseball Got Major” and “Vindicated: Huge Names, Significant Liars, and the Battle to Save Baseball.”
